Lot Hold

$1000 cheque is provided to the Area Manager. This is a “goodwill” cheque and is not cashed at this time.

Price Quote Meetings

The dreaming begins! At this time we help you with your “wishlist” and get pricing on the 1 or 2 plans that will best suite your lifestyle. Many customers like to get 3 prices:

  1. The standard home on the lot
  2. A “Dreams list” price with any and everything in it
  3. A list with the must have’s to bring your house in at your desired budget

Optional One Hour Design session

Accompanied with your Area Manager, you can spend one hour with our draftsperson, and see your home personalized right before your eyes!

Initial Paperwork

Once you are confident in the model, lot, & layout of the home (finishing details come later), your signed purchase agreement is sent to the bank for financing approval (Your $1000 cheque is cashed at this time)

Mortgage Approval

After one of our qualified mortgage specialists approves your financing, your second deposit is brought in. At this time we schedule any appointments in our supplier’s showrooms you may wish to attend to personalize the finishes in your home.

Interior Selections

With the complimentary aid of a professional interior designer, you now choose the finishing details like carpet, paint, tile, and hardwood etc to make your home… your home!

Approvals

Your design is sent for engineering layouts, new home warranty coverage, architectural approval, and finally a building permit. Depending on the municipality and the current activity levels, this process can take from 2 weeks to over 10 weeks

Construction Begins!

With approvals in hand, we “stake” the lot for excavation and the construction journey begins!

Construction Meeting

You will meet the Site Supervisor, who will be building your home. A file review along with process and safety requirements will be reviewed at this time. The timing of this meeting is at foundation stage
